RxScan Station is a cost-efficient and easy to use film digitizing and viewing station suitable for teleradiology. The system is based on a PC, a radiological film scanner and the RxView software. The system is based on standards (TCP-IP network LAN or WAN, DICOM 3) and permits digitizing, viewing, transmission and storage of conventional radiological films. The viewing user interface has been designed with state-of-the-art software technology in order to reduce the usually slow learning curve of users with such systems. Traditional tools (magnifier, zoom, stretch) and more advanced tools (easy to use and unique histogram-based window-leveling (DeltaWindow™, etc.) are included.
As an option, our SQL database RxArchive is available to enable a fast and secure access to all digitized radiographs.
RxScan Station comes with a 12-bit dedicated radiograph scanner from Vidar, RDI or Linotype.
