RxPACSä is a scalable, DICOM compatible application running on PC Computers. It provides a cost-effective way to archive radiographic images on digital medias and review them later on. It represents an important step toward filmless operation leading to important time and costs savings among other advantages.
RxPACS includes several modules, among them a SQL relational database (RxArchive), a innovative HSM (Hierarchical Storage Management), a multi-modality viewer (RxView) and integrated Intranet/Extranet services. The entire system is optimized without compromise for Windows architecture and PC Peripherals.
RxPACS supports a wide range of archiving configurations from off-line shelf management to hospital-wide, on-line PACS system with multiple levels of archiving media.
RxPACS currently supports RAID arrays, CD-R drives and CD-Jukeboxes of leading manufacturers.
