RadOffice PACS

Medical Image Archiving Software Overview

RadOffice PACS references all acquired medical imaging studies and series and as such represents the core of an Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS). Fully compatible with the DICOM standard it includes a state of the art browsing system that permits to search the required studies and series of image by using filters like Patient Name, Patient ID, Study Date and to sort all records accordingly. With RadOffice PACS you don’t struggle with files lost in a huge labyrinth of directories but you access the data right away. A calendar view is also provided. When ever your data is located on the local disk, on CDs (DVDs) in a Jukebox or on a off-line shelf of CDs (DVDs), RadOffice PACS stores the link to the images, including a thumbnail.

The innovative CD-R (DVD-R) creation process automates the process of creation of a standard set of reference CDs (DVDs) (Archive core). When ever necessary, you can also create a duplicate of selected data (for example all studies of a given patient) on DVD, CD, ZIP or JAZ media. You can automatically print the labels for CDs (DVDs), too. With RadOffice PACS, systematic archiving of all images produced in your institution becomes technically and economically feasible. Your institution and your patient will benefit.

Like all members of the RadOfficeÔ family of products, RadOffice PACS is build on top of latest Windows Software Technology and includes a SQL relational database to maintain the entire set of data. Usage of the DICOM standard for the medias guarantees long-term data viability independently from the software manufacturer.
